Damn Dirty Ape Show!

Join us on Saturday April First (7-10pm) as over three dozen artists pay tribute to the iconic science fiction franchise, drawing inspiration from the classic and new films, the TV show, animated series and various related merchandise. This colossal art show, co-curated by Moses Jaen and MF Gallery will feature painters, sculptors and illustrators including: Adam Carlson, Alex Chavez, Ally Atchison, Anastasia Kalivas, Bob Fingerman, Chinacat, Dark Arts Stan, Dos Diablos, Doug LaRocca, Drew Maillard, Eric Tengren, Erwin Papa, Frank Russo, Hana Mulyati, John Black, John Cebollero, John Thompson, Kamila Mlynarczyk, Karikatura, Keith Ciaramello, Kip Rathke, Leigh Walls, Lou Becker, Lou Rusconi, Martina Secondo Russo, Matt Bober, MCA, Michael, Swisstack, Mike Falcigno, Mike Mendez, Mikey Kloepfer, Moses Jaen, RC Aradio, Red Rooster, Rick Cortes, Stanley Larusso, and more... The opening reception for "Damn Dirty Ape Show" will be onSaturday April 1st, 2017, 7pm - 10pm, at MF Gallery. Clips from the Apes movies, cartoons and TV shows, as well as classic and upcoming movie trailers will be projected during the party. Admission is free and open to all ages. Ape costumes are encouraged, and will be rewarded with a prize!

MF Gallery is located at 213 Bond St. in the Gowanus area of Brooklyn. The gallery is easily accessible by Subway- take the F or G to Bergen St., the A or C to Hoyt/ Schermerhorn or the R to Union. Admission is free and open to all ages.
