“IN THE NAME OF LOVE - LIVE BEFORE YOU HAVE DIED!”
Leigh de Vries returns with 'Strange' - the next instalment from her new album, The Machine. The release includes remixes from iconic London-based electronic/rock producer Jagz Kooner, New York’s electroclash pioneer Larry Tee, epic soundtrack auteur Glen Nicholls and Dutch trapmeisters Pinch Hitters. Leigh de Vries has been turning heads with her questioning lyrics and brazen, throbbing sound since her very first release, ‘The Machine, Walk Alone’ – the song which won her the coveted 'Peoples Music Awards'. Conjuring images to match the sweeping vistas of the music, Leigh de Vries worked with BAFTA-award-winning artist and filmmaker, Tal Rosner on the video for the song. Spine chilling and gleefully ghoulish, Leigh de Vries leads you up the overgrown garden path, on a twisting journey into visual territory that challenges and provokes. It's not for the squeamish.
